Sad news. Marilyn Grignon passed away this morning, Friday, April 23, 2021. Marilyn was an avid lover of art and up until the end, Marilyn expressed herself through her art and her humour. For several years, she has been a faithful member of Focus Art and a good friend to many. She will be missed by all of us.... Condolences to her family and friends. Triste nouvelle. Marilyn Grignon est décédée ce matin, vendredi 23 avril 2021. Marilyn était une passionnée d'art et jusqu'à la fin, Marilyn s'est exprimée à travers son art et son humour. Depuis plusieurs années, elle est une membre fidèle de Focus Art et une bonne amie pour plusieurs. Elle nous manquera tous. Condoléances à sa famille et à ses amis.

Artists wishing to donate their artwork for the upcoming auction April 9-22 are welcome to drop off their submission at the Cornwall Square (2nd level across from Coles) on March 26 and 27 from 11 to 2pm. WE NEED YOU: CORNWALL ART CENTRE AUCTION: As a fundraiser, there will be an online auction of more than 50 pieces of art. The organising committee is appealing to artists to donate one of their creations. A tax receipt will be issued for the value you place on the art regardless of the sum it sells for. Drop off of your work on Friday, March 26 and Saturday March 27 between 11am and 2pm.at Cornwall Square, Second floor across from Coles. This is a great way for artists to he...lp the fundraising efforts of one million dollars for our new art centre. DROP OFF MARCH 26 AND 27 BETWEEN 11am AND 2pm. Arts Hall of Fame 2020: Eleven new members have been selected by nomination from the public, to be added to the Cornwall and Area Arts Hall of Fame. They join 29 artists and leaders in the arts inducted since 2015. Sadly, because of restrictions imposed by Covid, the yearly gala has been postponed to autumn 2021. Congratulations to all.
