What Re-opening will look like! To all our clients whom we look forward to seeing soon, These have been stressful, scary, and uncertain times. We have all been doing our part to keep ourselves well and safe as well as our community around us. We have done a good job! Unfortunately BC and the world is not out of the woods yet and so we must continue to all do our part for until further notice in the future. As a result we are mandated to have guidelines in place not only for o...urselves but also for you, our clientele. We thank you very much for your patience as you have been waiting to hear news of what reopening will look like. We are so pleased to welcome you all back as we reopen for business on June 1st. Rest assured that we will be following procedures to keep ourselves and our community safe. Please be aware that we will do our best to accommodate you all and again ask for your patience as we ourselves adapt to our own guidelines. For example, we will have access to only one of our shampoo basins at a time and we will require extra time for sanitizing . We will be unable to offer beverages, or even magazines at this point in time and we cannot have clients gather in the reception area. These are just a few examples of how things must be at this time. What we will require for you is as follows: Covid19 guidelines for our Clients: - We ask that you book an appointment by phone (250 656 8122) - All clients will be required to wear a mask. You may bring your own or purchase one from us (we will also have a mask without elastics, designed specifically for hair salons). - If you feel sick or display any of the following symptoms, please stay home . -Cough (dry) -Difficulty breathing and blue lips or face -Extreme tiredness and aches and pains -sore throat -Extreme headaches (out of the ordinary) -Chest pain or pressure -Loss of speech or movement -Loss of taste or smell -Skin rash or discolouration of fingers or toes -Sudden onset of runny nose not consistent with allergies - Do any members of your household have Covid219 or do they have any of the above symptoms? - Have you travelled out of the province or country; have you been to any larger gatherings of 50 or more people? - Clients must arrive alone (unless a health care attendant is required to assist in and out of salon) and clients must wait outside for their appointment. - We will no longer be able to allow animals into the salon We thank you for your attention to these matters.

To all our clients, We thank you for your patience during this time. We know you are all anxiously waiting to hear the details of our reopening and hoping to get in as soon as possible! We are reopening Tuesday, June 2. We will have our protocols in place at that time. We will be limited, unfortunately, as to the number of stylists/ clients that we can have in the salon and we will also be limited to the use of only one shampoo basin. This all does make things more difficult ...to manage our scheduling. Therefore we do ask for your continued patience as we will do our best to get you all in while we ourselves are trying to adapt to the new protocols which will also require more time between each client. Unfortunately, due to the added costs involved because of Covid19 we will have to create a price adjustment. This is unfortunate but I believe is happening across the board in most sectors impacted by this trying time. There will be a further post before the end of the week explaining in further detail expectations that will also be required by us regarding health and wellness and the use of masks. To all our amazing clients whom we have missed very much, We thank you for your patience during this difficult time and we hope that you have all kept healthy and well. We are very much looking forward to seeing you once we are ready to reopen . We are currently working to ensure that our environment will meet necessary guidelines for your safety as well as the safety of our team. Once we can confirm our opening date we will be in touch with you. (Currently we are hoping for ...early June but we must first ensure that everything is in place.) Once we are able to welcome you back you can be guaranteed that: - We will contact you as soon as we are ready to take bookings - We will be taking all steps to keep our salon sanitized, on going between each client - We will be wearing masks and may ask that our clients have masks as well - We will be limiting the number of people in salon - We will be creating a schedule of altered shifts( in order to accommodate all clients while keeping the number of people in salon low) - We will have hand sanitizer available at the door to use upon entering salon - We will have protocols posted on our door and also a screening questionnaire for clients to complete prior to appointments - We will continue to take cash along with debit/credit cards and wearing gloves as necessary All the above protocols will be monitored and modified on an ongoing basis as we get ourselves back into routine, continuing to keep our clients and team safe.
