Big news today! FOFA Gallery is sad to say goodbye to our director, Eunice, and we are, oh, so proud and happy for her to embark on this new professional adventure. The Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal is pleased to announce the appointment of Eunice Bélidor as the Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Curator of Quebec and Canadian Contemporary Art (1945 to Today). Bélidor’s multidisciplinary background in art and research will greatly benefit the Museum, its programming and its c...ollection of Quebec and Canadian contemporary art. Art institutions faced huge challenges during the global pandemic, and Eunice's approach and her vision of slow curating allowed a more personal programming for the artists and the gallery team and the possibility for self and collective care. We will miss you so much but we look forward to following you in your new role. ____________________________________________ Grosses nouvelles aujourd'hui! La galerie FOFA est attristée mais surtout fière pour notre directrice Eunice qui s'apprête à débuter une nouvelle aventure professionnelle. Le Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal est heureux d'annoncer l'entrée en poste de Eunice Bélidor comme conservatrice d'art contemporain québécois et canadien Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky (1945 à aujourd'hui) Le parcours multidisciplinaire en art et en recherche de Bélidor est un atout majeur pour le Musée, sa programmation et sa collection d'art contemporain québécois et canadien. Les institutions artistiques ont rencontré de gros défis durant la pandémie mais l'approche de Eunice et sa vision du "slow curating" a permis une programmation plus personnelle et la possibilité pour les artistes de prendre soin de soi et des autres. Tu vas nous manquer mais nous allons te suivre dans ton nouveau rôle.
