British Columbia Multicultural Week Nov 15-21. We acknowledge the Indigenous Peoples lands on which we all live and represent this event. BC Ministry of Health celebrates via a blog which includes the GVFFS Folktoria 3rd annual virtual event (held June 2020). This is also posted on the City of Victoria website. Thank you to all the cultural organizations, dance, folk bands, singing, and food groups that have come together to bring not only this virtual event but all past eve...nts. I want to particularly thank the many volunteers that have provided such amazing input to better ourselves and spent countless hours. We would not be able to put this event if it were not for sponsors and funders over the years. We want to acknowledge the 40 years the Kariatis Dancers have been together in this city - it was something they had announced prior to COVID! We are always thinking about you and you are in our hearts, prayers, and thoughts. Let's hope to see each other again at the 2021 Folktoria event!
