La Fondation CURE finançons des programmes et des services communautaires. Nous reconnaissons l’impact que peut avoir un diagnostic de cancer du sein sur la patiente et sa famille, un impact qui se manifeste bien au-delà des traitements médicaux. Nous soutenons les campagnes de sensibilisation à la santé du sein pour les femmes immigrantes et les femmes d'ascendance africaine en partenariat avec des organisations communautaires telles que l'Olive Branch of Hope à Toronto et Action cancer du sein du Québec à Montréal.

CURE provides funding for community programs and services, recognizing that a breast cancer diagnosis impacts the patient and her family in ways that go far beyond medical treatment. Breast cancer death rates continue to rise in women of African ancestry and have been linked to the prevalence of the aggressive triple negative breast cancer subtype in this group as compared to women of other ethnicities. CURE supported the The Olive Branch of Hope Cancer Support Services’s educational campaign.
