Happy spring everyone. Our 2021 plan is coming together. We have started leeks and our tomatoes and peppers are growing well in the greenhouses at Lawrence's Springwater Farms - thank you Glenn. Looking forward to some dry weather to get on the fields.
Happy holidays to everyone from the Food Bank Farm family.

Great work from Jeff Marshall and his team at the City's Horticulture Division! They have been growing produce to donate to local food banks.
Our food bank is again completely out of hygiene items. We would very much appreciate donations of any of these items. If you're able, consider running a hygiene items drive! Resources are available on our website, including a poster and social media shareables.
Our last harvest day at the Farm for the year. The final delivery tomorrow to the Soup Kitchen Community Centre will include carrots, green onions, kale, cabbage, swiss chard, mustard greens, squash, and beets. It has been another great year.
From our family at the Farm to you, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. Our next Soup Kitchen Community Centre delivery will be Thursday.
It may be the beginning of October but we still harvested carrots, leeks, parsnips, tomatoes, squash, green onions, ground cherries, beets, swiss chard, kale, cabbage, and radishes. See you at the Soup Kitchen Community Centre tomorrow.
If the weather holds up we will be harvesting for a few more weeks. See you at the Soup Kitchen Community Centre tomorrow morning. Carrots, squash, kale, and green onions are a few of the vegetables that will be available.
