Food for Thought

Food4kids is a charitable organization here in Waterloo that serves under-privileged kids whose food security is at risk. There are around 2500 children who are... hungry and don’t know when they’re going to get their next meal. Food4kids delivers food hampers on a weekly basis to these children’s backpacks in the school so they can take it home with them on the weekend. Dedicated volunteers and staff are working hard to make sure no child goes hungry but they need YOUR help. Please visit their website at www.food4kidsww.ca to make a donation! Of interest: this organization is conscious of refugees religious and food sensitivities. They do ask if the child has any sensitivities and what their religious restrictions are. They have a dedicated Halal food assembly line that is different than mainstream hampers.
