"I'm a single dad. When the pandemic hit...things got tighter. I never anticipated that I'd have to use the food bank. I was nervous...it's been a lifesaver." Times are tough. When most people think of a food hamper, cans and macaroni come to mind. Fruit, dairy, vegetables, pastry and bread items are key ingredients in every hamper. Items are included whenever possible thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners. Can you help? The Airdrie Food Bank is experiencing a decrease in food donations, because like many food banks their regular fundraising events have been cancelled. They are looking for food items like: instant oatmeal, soup, tomatoes, baked beans, meal kits, syrup, cookies, condiments and flour.
