Our first deliberate stop in #HoChiMinhCity was to this place that specializes in #BanhCuon which is #pork and sometimes #woodmushrooms wrapped in a rice noodle. They key here was the #friedgarlic

In #HoChiMinhCity and upgraded our accommodations again. Needed a #pool. Too hot without it. So a trip to the hospital to see about my tooth. Then some food discovery. #vietnam #foodbohemians @ A&Em Hotel, 44 Phan Bi Châu, Qun 1

Did a huge ride today 106km to the north west and almost a full circumnavigation of #PhuQuoc island. The north east is the place to be. Almost free of giant new development and beautiful roads through the jungle and along the #coast. We ended up at a great bar with a nice sea pool. Awesome #cocktails and food and very friendly #aussie owners. Only 20km ride back to our place. @ Rory's Bar

Way up north on #PhuQuoc today finally an area that is fairly untouched by development (yet). Trying a #localbeer #kinhbeer at a little #beachbar and a long ride on our last full day here #vietnam #doodbohemians

#BaiSao is a beautiful beach in the southeast of #PhuQuoc Island. We rode about 27km to get here and very worth the ride. Thanks @billyace69 you were correct. We are heading to the longest cable car ride in the world from #PhuQuoc to 2 other islands in the far south.

#BaiSao is a beautiful beach and we ordered one of the #PhuQuoc specialties which is french fries.... No. It is a #herring salad kind of like #civeche but lighter with the citrus and made with such tender beautiful pieces of #fish. Another winner in #vietnam #foodbohemians

Back on the food train a bit. Rode out to a fishing village on the east coast of the island of #PhuQuoc and found a great seafood restaurant. Went fairly safe with some #Crab fried rice and 1/2 kg of shrimp. Looks like the seafood will be great on the island. @ Phú Quc - Hòn o Ngc
