Our school food boxes get fresh Ontario produce and local cheese into our schools. They are possible because of many incredible donors in our community, including Kawartha Credit Union. The Kawartha Credit Union Community Involvement Program supports many causes and we are grateful to be a recipient! #FeedingStudentSuccess

Last week, R.F. Downey Public School celebrated St. Patrick's Day with Green Apples for the #GreatBigCrunch !

#Toonies4Tummies was a huge success at Metro Ontario this month! Thank you to everyone who participated. You helped fill a hungry tummy in our community!

Thank you to the dedicated crew at Peterborough Public Health who has been baking healthy muffins and making veggie packs since October to help support Student Nutrition Programs! Everything is prepared safely in the Peterborough Public Health kitchen and individually packaged for easy distribution in schools. A total of 36 schools have been able to benefit from this initiative!

A Halloween Themed, Drive-Thru, Volunteer Appreciation took place on Friday at St. Patrick C.E.S. What a great idea and way to show your Student Nutrition Program Volunteers that they are valued!

Student Nutrition Programs may look a little different this school year, but our amazing volunteers are still making it happen! At St. Paul Catholic Elementary School the food prep is done at Norwood Town Hall kitchen and then transported to the school for a Grab & Go as the students come in the doors. Nice Work!

Thank you Trent University for the beautiful fresh produce from your gardens! We shared the produce with the nutrition programs at St. John Catholic Elementary School Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute STRIVE and the School For Young Mom's Student Nutrition Ontario - Central East
