Each month Feed the Need in Durham distributes 80 000 pounds of food across Durham Region. Your donations go a long way in helping to #feeddurham. Visit Foodland (Whitby) today until 7:00 p.m. and tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and made a donation as you go through the register!

Every little bit helps! Feed the Need in Durham has a purchasing power of 7x, that small donation, matched by the Rotary Club of Whitby can make a BIG difference. Rotary elves will be Foodland (Whitby) Anderson and Manning today until 7 p.m.

COVID-19 prevented us from holding our Food Truck Frenzy Whitby and giving back to the community to agencies like Feed the Need in DurhamToday at Foodland (Whitby), until 7 p.m. you can make a small contribution at the cash register and the Rotary Club of Whitby will match all donations.

This weekend at Foodland (Whitby), cashiers will invite you to make a donation in support of #rotary and Feed the Need in Durham. Rotary Club of Whitby will match donations as we try to help to fill the hunger gap this Christmas. See you on Friday (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) Saturday and Sunday (8a.m. to 7 p.m.)

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported The Brock House and the Rotary Club of Whitby’s Food Frenzy this weekend Your support made this event a success and helped raise funds for our local essential workers! The Brock House are easy to partner with, they put together an entire event inspired menu which was clearly the star of the show! Chris/Maddie, and the whole crew at TBH were a great pleasure to work with. A very special thanks to Terry Johnston ...at CKDO, who gave us an interview and helped to promote with virtually no advance notice. Also special thanks to Keith Jasper, Bounce Media, who volunteered to set up the website and Social media to accommodate this event. Also, Vic Utrosa, who produced the event street signs to promote our event. Thank you to our friends at Rotary Sunrise for the incredible and never ending support that helped make our event a great success. A special thanks to Rotarians Elizabeth Darbyshire, who oversaw the event, and was ever present throughout the weekend, and Shauna Moore, who brought the event to the community through Social Media! Shauna produced/posted entertaining and effective messaging to our Gourmet Food Truck frenzy audience, and they showed up! A huge thanks to all Rotarians who support everything we do by volunteering or participating as a customer, and for sharing our posts.
