Blake is a good friend of mine and has suffered a pretty hard time with the loss of his store, and the crap that surrounded that. He opened up the Garage to Foodhammer for many events and I'll always be in his debt for that. If you can find some spare cash to help him out of this hole, you'd be doing me a solid too. Thanks. THE CERAMITE CHEF AUCTION Here it is, good people! If you are attending (or have attended in the case of the Malifaux players) one of this year's Foodhammer event as a participant or as a member of volunteer staff, you are eligible to bid on this beautiful miniature painted by Mathieu Fontaine, set upon a plinth which has been donated by Dragon Forge Designs. If you are unable to attend the 40K team event on Sunday November 24th and would like to place a bid, here is what yo...u must do. Email [email protected] with the subject "CERAMITE CHEF BID" IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL: Your name, the event you are attending (so I can confirm your eligibility), your maximum bid, and your phone number. If I do not have all of this information your bid will be rejected. If you are attending the Team Event as a Foodhammer participant you do not need to place an email bid, and you can bid in the room. If the live bidding reaches a point where a maximum bid in the room has been reached, I will consult the online bids. If the online bids are higher than the room, the current bid will then be $5 above the second highest online bid (the highest email bidder being the current high bidder). If I get another bid in the room it will go back and forth between the room and the email bidder in increments of $5 until the room passes, or the highest email bid has been passed.

It's been a year since we had Foodhammer. What a crazy year. I am feeling quite nostalgic, and I'm also sad that even if I had decided to get the band back together, we wouldn't have been able to have that and do what we do best. I miss you guys! Victoria Lamb is selling her wonderful Kangaroo APC as a fundraiser for the South Australia RSPCA Bush Fire Fund. It's a popular kit, well designed and versatil...e for whatever tabletop system you're playing. Victoria says "For every Kangaroo APC kit sold during January, Victoria Miniatures, in conjunction with our resin caster's at Trench Worx will donate $50.00 USD (around $73.00 AUD) to the RSPCA. Each Kangaroo APC sold during this period will also include a free pre-release Hedgerow Cutter. A kangaroo purchase will also qualify for a free miniature of the month of your choice." They are NOT making money on this - not even enough to cover costs. For Vancouver locals, I'll do a painting competition after they start arriving and we can get together for some games and socialising to maybe throw some additional money to the cause! Foodhammer's done - I'm allowed. Hush.

I'm on my phone at my son's archery class. I'm happy to say that I gave the Regional Animal Protection Society $3,100 just now. Nice screen cap of the transaction for you The Regional Animal Protection Society runs the city shelter of Richmond, BC the largest cat sanctuary in North America and a full-service animal hospital. They also have a food bank for low income families with animals, which is why they're getting money. Our goodest furry frens are important too. You guy...s did this! Proud of you I'm only able to do transactions one at a time because transferring money from the Foodhammer credit union account to my TD visa is limited daily to $3000. One more to go - I'll likely do that on Monday morning :)

I made one of the three donations this morning, first one for $3000 to the Muslim Food Bank. I'm not about going in there and making a big fuss with a cheque and a photo and all that. Just a little online guy :) You guys did this
