Update On Pickup Orders/Curbside Pickup As many people are looking to limit their exposures, we have decided to bring back our pickup ordering. If you are interested, please read the following carefully, as a few things have changed. 1. Minimum $100 order for all pickup orders. Along with only 1 order a week per person. Pickup orders are a long process, and we want to serve as many people as possible. The larger the order the better. ... 2. For takeout to your car, you must pre pay over the phone with a credit card. If you wish to pay with cash or debit, you must come into the store to pay. 3. At the height of the last wave, the max wait time was 5 days. Most people had their order filled within 2 days of getting on the wait list. Wait times depend on how long the waitlist is, and the state of the pandemic. We will try our best to give you an idea of approximately how many days you will be waiting. Sometimes, you can get your order the same day you call. We are expecting a backlog of orders around Christmas, so please allow for much longer wait times. 4. When you call, ask for Aidan. If he is not working, your name will be taken and put on the waitlist. 5. We do not take your order when you call. We call you back when your name is next on the list, and you can pick up your order within a half hour after your order is taken. This way is more accurate, as we can give you a better idea of what items we have on hand, and can fulfill any specific requests. Please have a list ready for when we call you back. No emailing or faxing lists, as we want to know exactly what items you want, and ask your preference for any substitutions. 6. When you arrive, call us and give a description of your vehicle. We will then bring out your order. 7. Sorry, no home delivery We appreciate your patience, and look forward to starting this service back up. When visiting us in person, please wear a mask if possible, practice propper hand sanitation, and don't come in if you are sick. Let's have a safe end to 2020.

Starting tomorrow Oct 1, we will no longer be using plastic bags in our store. The Nova Scotia Government has banned plastic bags for all businesses on October 31st. We strongly encourage you to bring in your reusable bags. We are now back to packing your reusable bags for you. Our cashiers will ask if you would like us to pack your bags, or if you would prefer to pack them yourself due to covid. Please keep your bags as clean as possible. If you don't have reusable bags alr...eady, we have them for sale for .99 cents. If you forget your bags, you have the option of taking items loose in your cart. You can buy our .25 cent bags, or our .10 cent bags. Our .25 cent bags are a smaller reusable bag option, that resemble the size and shape of a traditional plastic bag. You can also purchase paper bags for .10 cents each. We will still be giving you small mini plastic bags for your meat, to prevent cross contamination, if you prefer. We thank-you for your cooperation, during this change to help our environment.

The long weekend has arrived! We whipped up this tasty meal for supper last night, striploin marinated in Our Dad’s Favorite Meat Marinade, served with asparagu...s, Caesar salad and Steph’s delicious twice baked potatoes! We had Steph’s father and sister for company and they really enjoyed it, so we sent a few bottles with them to take back home to Ontario and a few extra for them to drop off to her brother as well when they get back. This is just some of the food that is headed to the bunkhouses for the guys; a total of 240lbs of rice along with everything else! All 14 men are out of quarant...ine as of this morning but by us continuing to do the shopping it keeps their risk of exposure lower.
