As regulated health professionals, chiropody services will remain open in the upcoming province wide shutdown. We thank everyone for being so diligent and abiding by our protocols to provide care in a safe environment.

We are thrilled to announce that our clinic will be reopening May 28, 2020 to provide essential services to our patients. We are currently working on triaging and rebooking appointments that have been cancelled over the last 3 months. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming task. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process. If our phone lines are busy, you can also email us at [email protected] or send a message through facebook messenger and we will reply... as soon as possible. Appointments are necessary and the clinic will be closed to walk in traffic. When coming for appointments, we ask that you wear a mask. If you don't have a mask, one will be provided for you. Keeping set appointment times is key to avoid overlapping of patients. If you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment it will need to be rescheduled. Similarly, if you arrive more than 10 minutes early, we ask that you wait in your car if possible. We want to continue offering a safe space for our staff and patients. Please be honest if you have or have recently had any of the following symptoms of COVID19: Fever or Chills New or Worsening Cough, Shortness of Breath, Difficulty Breathing, Nasal Congestion, Sore Throat Difficulty Swallowing, Change in Sense of Smell or Taste Nausea, Vomitting, Diarrhea, Pink Eye Unexplained Headache, Fatigue, or Muscle Aches We're looking forwards to being able to serve you again shortly!

The office is booking patients for URGENT same day appointments with the Nurse Practitioner. Issues could include: suspected UTI, ear ache, sore throat, etc. F...or all medication renewals please contact your family Doctor or Pharmacy. Remember to first contact your family doctor, before calling to book with the Nurse Practitioner. Do not leave a message as it will not be returned. Phones will be answered starting at 8:30 am. If you are experiencing symptoms that you believe may be related to COVID 19, you must self-isolate and contact Public Health (519-376-9420) or visit an Assessment Centre. (If you are a new participant, make sure that you review the entire post including waiver) Join our 30 minute daily virtual exercise group for those who are social distancing during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This will be done using "Zoom which does require you to download the program, but does not require you to register or sign up to use it. The instructors screen will be recorded and posted to Facebook and the BAKFHT website (www.bakfht.ca) later in the day for those interested who could not participate at 10:00. Please join our virtual exercise group by clicking on the link below shortly before 10am each day. Please note, that you will not be able to join until 9:55am Things you should have for the exercise class: Suitable clothing and footwear, a nearby chair, a resistance band and weights (recommended but not required).
