The Foot Clinic is now open for essential foot care appointments. Essential care includes all medically necessary foot care. We will be screening all patients for symptoms and exposure. We are booking longer appointments to allow for time to sanitize the reception area and entry/exit between patients and allow for hand hygiene practices on entry and before exit. ... We equipped both treatment rooms with JADE air filters which incorporate a HEPA and carbon filter along with a UV element last year and are grateful to have this added level of protection during this time. The Foot Clinic is open for emergency/urgent foot care appointments. We will be screening all patients prior to booking. If you aren’t sure if your foot care needs are emergency/urgent, your complaint can be triaged during the screening call. To ensure patient safety we will all be wearing personal protective equipment and staggering our appointments so patients will have left the clinic before the next patient is due to arrive. We have hand sanitizer for use in the office.... We are disinfecting waiting room and reception surfaces between patients in addition to our Chiropody infection control standards of practice in the treatment areas. We have decided to close today due to weather. The roads were bad and are only getting worse as the snow continues to fall, and our parking lot is still full of snow! Visibility is very poor for driving in Wasaga Beach. Safety first!
