Some loose leash training with a heavy pulling Shepherd. 20 mins before this video was taken this very determined young man could not walk his 2 year old dog. She would almost pull him over, lunge, she created an all around scene. So I taught him to dance with her. Changed the tools he was using and gave him some instruction. This is 20 minutes after. She is starting to take his lead. She is very unsure as she has never had any proper direction but.... Proper handling skills ...and, leadership will win. I suspect this dog was given alot of affection but lacked leadership and direction ( of no fault of his own). She was willing to please and learn very quickly. This was one lesson everyone. This will become a very pleasurable experience everyday for them soon. He learned to guide her through play, affection and, a little correction. Im absolutely shocked how fast he caught on. Im so proud of you. Hats off to you young man. It goes to show if you want it bad enough anything is possible. 12 years old!!! 2 year old female German Shepherd. An extremely pleasent surprise today. A covid puppy who is not shy. Tux is an 8 month old bulldog mix with bounds of energy. Hes friendly as sin. Tux does not have an off switch or any manners at all. He will be training with me for awhile. It took him 25 minutes just to settle enough to take this video. Anxiety and so much pent up energy. Extremely food motivated. A trainers dream dog. This boy is going to be so much fun. I look forward to helping his owners on their journey to a well balanced, obedient pup.
