Food is fascinating, fun and delicious. Sounds corny, but when we care about our food and waste less it benefits the rest of our lives, especially our budget.

In Canada, a whopping 45% of total food waste is thrown out at home! There are many things you can do to prevent this - not only benefiting the environment, your bank account but also realizing that 1 in 8 households in Canada is food insecure, amounting to over 4 million Canadians, including 1.15 million children across the country that are struggling for food. Being mindful of our own food practices goes a long way to stop food waste.
