Last weekend we buried my uncle. It was a green burial, which lent us the opportunity to touch the dirt where in time he will return. I was, am, full of feelings of loss. Speechless, tearless, grasping for expression. Then my cousin shared this picture of my father gently tossing a rose to his brother. Our family, together, moving dirt, laughing, crying, documenting, lovingwhile our children play in the meadow alongside. Somehow this says it all. Thank you @coryalder for the photograph.
