It cuts like butter through the zinc formations. Averaging 60 to 80 meters, depending on what kind of drilling programs we have. These bits are very dependable and can handle the torque that comes with the formation changes that come with the te...rritory. Schist and granite and quartz mixed into one cluster of a drill program. Sometimes its just 4 to 7 inches per minute just to get through some areas. Drills the gold seams here very well. Handles all sorts of rock we encounter here in Northern Manitoba. Surface and underground. There's probably another 3 companies here using these bits. NQ and BQ. I’ve been using all kinds of bits here since 2004. Fordia has advanced in the matrix 10 fold. Compared to other competitors who's bits only delivered 39m a day.
