STAMPEDE SHOWCASE Steve Mason, 2016 Shelby GT350 5.2L Voodoo 6 spd Tech package After a 6-year hiatus from the GHMA, I just couldn’t stay away any longer, and with the funds to buy something special in hand, I started my research for a new Mustang. Being the former Race Director of our Mustangs at Mosport event for 16 years or so, racing is still in my blood, and I wanted a car that could really handle. ... The Shelby GT350 seemed just the ticket, so the hunt was on! You just can’t beat the in your face Ferrari type growl from that high revving flat plane crank 5.2L Voodoo engine, and mind blowing acceleration. I found a Blue with White stripes model for sale in Ottawa that I loved, and almost pulled the trigger on it. Until this one in London with White paint & Blue stripes came up for sale. Only 3 years old with only 15,000 km’s on it, and I was going to save some $$$. I loved the traditional LeMans look of the car, and being a 90-minute drive away I could easily go and drive it. Well, the rest is history now. Drove it Bought it ! I swear sometimes I think it’s going to leave the ground! Can’t wait to have it out at Stampede 2020 this summer.
