Our grade 4 class has been outside for Science today investigating how shadow lengths and positions change throughout the day. After tracing and measuring shadows, we are learning that the earth’s rotation around the sun causes shadows to be long in the morning. Shadows gradually get shorter until about noon and then begin getting longer again through the afternoon. It was great to be out in the sunshine!

We apologize for the lateness of this post! The SAHA Main Street cafe player of the week is Owen Finstad. Owen has become a leader in our hockey academy both in the classroom and in the gym. He did an amazing job this week of running our group through a practice and taking on coaching duties. We appreciate the hard work and positive attitude you bring with you every day. Keep it up, Owen!
