If you missed it yesterday, listen to Garry leading us in a powerful prayer of petition and sharing a little of his own story. (click here to skip straight to Garry's part: https://youtu.be/vPu9YDZJR8M?t=2311 ) Our God invites us to ask! Borrow this simple prayer of petition today, and share with the Good Father your own 'everyday' concerns and challenges. Nothing is too big for His power, nothing is too small for His love. #LetUsPray

When Jesus prayed, He showed us His closeness and oneness with the Father. His prayers connected Him to His Heavenly Father. The same is true for us. A big part of prayer is expressing our adoration, thanks and awe of God. When we acknowledge who He is, it gets us into the right posture before Him and it helps us remember who we're talking to. Borrow this simple prayer, fill in the blanks on your own or with someone you're close to.... #LetUsPray See more

NEW SERIES: Let us Pray What is prayer, actually? And why is something so instinctive also so difficult for many of us?... At its core prayer is communion- relationship- with our Father in Heaven. It’s a conversation rooted in the language of love; intimate with the Holy Spirit and powerful enough to move mountains. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be answering some big questions about prayer (What? Why? How? When? Where?), and at the same time we’ll be answering the call of the Father to [re]discover the simplicity, passion and power of a prayer-filled life and community. (More on this series: forestbrook.ca/media) Join us online Sunday morning at 10am as we tackle the question, "What is prayer and why do we do it?" forestbrook.ca/online-gathering After the gathering, we'll invite you to PRAY with us. This will be a guided time of reflection and prayer focusing on lament, and you can participate by praying out loud or listening.
