We want to let you know that both Osteopathic Treatments, and Massage Therapy is open for all clients! At this time, Forest City Osteopathy will remain CLOSED until further notice. RMTs are now permitted to gradually restart Massage Therapy services for emergency treatments only. You may have seen the buzz that some clinics are starting to reopen with some new regulations. There are still a number of health and safety requirements which MUST be met before opening up our practise again and Osteopathic treatments are still not permitted. ... We are excited to get back to seeing you and your families, but we want to make sure we are following the governments guidelines closely to keep us all healthy. The clinic may look a little bit different, but the quality of treatments will still be the same. Once all of the requirements are fulfilled, we will have a gradual reopening starting with emergency treatments only. An emergency treatment means that the BENEFIT of treatment MUST outweigh the RISK to the Client/Patient and the Massage Therapist. The client must show that their need is great and not having treatment would have serious consequences. I have an ongoing list of clients on this list who wish to have immediate treatments. If you feel your need is great and you may fit this criterion and wish to be put on this list, please contact us directly. Stay safe and healthy

First and foremost, we want to extend a huge thank you to our front line emergency workers, and our essential businesses that are keeping us moving forward during this time. Remember to thank these people when you are in the grocery store long line ups. They are the real MVPs. The COVID-19 state of emergency has been extended until May 12th, 2020. Therefore, all appointments at our clinic have being cancelled until May 13th. It’s possible that this date could be further exte...nded. We will continue to check our messages and emails and will be providing updates on our closure moving forward. If you require advice on any of your physical concerns or are looking for referrals to manual therapists that are still seeing patients for emergency appointments please inquire by email or phone. You can also email us to be put on our list for immediate appointments once we are able to safely return to work. We appreciate your understanding at this very difficult time. Our first Helping Hands program raised over $800 that we are excited to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada! This charity hits home for both of our practitioners who have had family members battling this disease.
