We appreciate your patience as we deal with higher than normal call volumes, increased requests due to curbside service and increased demands on our schedule due to limited emergency services at the veterinary medical center. Did you know that we have an online store? You can order your pets food there and it will get shipped to the clinic for pick up. If you would like to avoid the line up altogether, you can choose to ship your pets food directly to your home, eliminating the need to call us when you arrive for pick up and the need to arrive during our business hours! Set up your shopping account today! https://forestgrovevet.clientvantage.ca/

Do you have an appointment scheduled with us? We have a patient history form in order to help make sure that all of your concerns are addressed at the time of your appointment. Please follow the link and submit a history form for each pet that you have an appointment scheduled for at least 12 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time. https://form.jotform.com/201526058402042

We are happy to be open during this time to continue to serve you and your pets. We are operating strictly by curbside service at this time. When you arrive to the clinic you will have to call 306-955-6111 and let us know that you have arrived. Our staff will assist you over the phone and direct you to what the next steps of your visit will be. Please be patient as we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes at this time so your wait times may be increased, or you may need to leave a message for us to call you back. At this time our preferred methods of payment are by credit card or debit. If you need to pay with cash, please try to have as close to the exact amount of your bill as possible as we do not have a large amount of change on hand. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this pandemic together.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we continue to operate curbside service only at this time. Because of this, we will require a minimum of 48 hours for prescription refills. We will try to fill your pets medication as quickly as possible, but we can no longer promise same day refills. Please plan accordingly and notify us in advance if your pet is requiring a refill of their medication.

The Veterinary Medical Centre at the WCVM has been affected by a COVID-19 outbreak. In order to ensure that they are able to stay open to do critical care appointments all non-critical emergencies are being deferred out to other veterinary clinics. In response to this need we are anticipating higher than normal appointment requests. Please be patient with our staff as we work together to get your pets the medical care that they need. You may experience longer than normal wait times on the phone and it may take longer than you expect in order to book for routine medical appointments. Your pets medical needs will be triaged by our trained technicians and veterinarians and emergency cases will be seen in order of greatest need. We appreciate your patience at this time.

There has been some new research published this year on why cats love catnip! It activates reward centers in their brains and seems to have mosquito-repelling ability. https://youtu.be/VSZ8ywgGNGM
