Mother Nature has reminded all of us today as to who is boss with all this snow! On a day like today, if you walk through our Cemetery, you'll be sure to come across our resident Deer!!! The Deer Love the snow! We're thankful that they have chosen Our Cemetery as their home, they are a sign of Free Spirit and a blessing to our grounds and visitors. If you have any pictures of the Deer in our Cemetery, please message us and we will add them to our sighting album.

Forest Lawn: RESPONSE to COVID-19 As the growing global concern around COVID-19 becomes an increasing reality in Canada, Forest Lawn is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, the families we serve and their guests who participate in the services we conduct. The current situation is extremely fluid and circumstances dictate that we must all adjust our daily routines and behaviors in order to slow the transmission of this virus to the best of our abilities. ... With your understanding, please be aware that we have revised our previous implementations with the following procedures: Essential Services During this period, we will focus on providing essential services, which means our top priority will be to those families who have experienced a death. We encourage individuals to defer non-essential services to a later date. Access to Facilities Entrance to the Administrative Offices will be by appointment only. The doors will be locked at all times. For essential needs, please call the office number for assistance (see Contact Us). Access to our mausoleum buildings will only be available during essential service events. Please note, for those services when the 20 -person limit is reached, the doors will be locked. Access to our mausoleum buildings for general visitation will be after hours. We ask that you respect the hours posted, observe all government directives still in effect (social distancing, hand washing and sanitizing). We ask should you visit please wear a mask and gloves. Hours of visitation are as follows: Monday Saturday 4:00 pm 8:00 pm Sunday 8:00 am 8:00 pm Safe Distance Protocol Effective June 13th, 2020, the Ontario Government rescinded previous restriction on large gatherings at funerals and now advised for outdoor services no more than 50 attendees and for indoor services restricted to a number that allows for all directives to be observed. We will be strictly enforcing this at our locations. We ask that all attendees wear a mask . We have implemented a Safe Distance Protocol for employees and the public. This means our employees will have no direct physical contact such as handshakes and hugs with one another or members of the public and they will observe a 12-foot distance wherever possible. We thank our families, their guests and all visitors to our locations and facilities for their understanding during these extraordinary times.
