Thursday nights radio program is a SOCAN night. SOCAN is the The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) is a Canadian performance rights organization that represents the performing rights of songwriters, composers and music publishers. The organization collects licence fees through a music licensing program approved by the Copyright Board of Canada. To make a long story short, Musicians get paid some money. So this week's show will be an all Canadian effect. So let me know what Canadian metal music you would like to hear. Heavy Metal from Down under will continue next week.

On tonight's Forever deaf show, I am going to add an extra hour at 1:00 AM. While my hernias heal, I have been watching a lot of TV recently. I was watching a documentary on the Australian heavy metal (and hardcore...) scene. Admittedly, I realized I did not know as much about the scene as I thought I did, so it inspired me to do some research which in turn inspired me to create four or five or six (we will see how it goes) one hour shows which will discuss the Australian heavy metal scene. Each show for the next couple of weeks will start at 1:00AM. Hope you enjoy it.

Still Rockin' after all these years!

It has been a while since we have been able to go to concerts. Hopefully it will be a thing again someday soon. If you are desperate you could go to check this out. It is not as big a drive to there then some of the other venues in Toronto.

Just to let you all know: I did just get my hernias fixed. I am home from the hospital and all seems to be well so far. Btw they fixed an inquinal hernia and an umbilical hernia. Two for one, what a deal! Yes this was later than we hoped, but it got pushed back a couple of times. The doctor had some emergency cancer surgery that sent my operating date back. At this point I am still enjoying the wonderful effect of the drugs and I am hoping they don't wear out too soon. Doctor says that I will be down and out for at least three weeks. I recorded the Forever Deaf radio hours on Monday already, so there are new shows this week. I guess you can call Thursday's Former Deaf show the hernia special. :)
