Crazy times. Still accepting appointments as I am a boutique operation and am taking many precautions. All clients will be asked about recent travel and any cocoa-19 related symptoms prior to attending their appointment.... Maximum two family members to accompany at a newborn appointment. Limit of 5 people for a family casting Floors, counters, door handles and supplies will be disinfected with a diluted bleach solution before and after each appointment. bookings will be limited to one appointment every three days to minimize transmission. So encouraging to spend a weekend at #flcweekendgetaway investing in our marriage in our five years of marriage we’ve gutted and essentially rebuilt a home on top of both of us working full time, have been raising our daughter, have started two businesses of own, and are in the process of writing a book together...we sure aren’t afraid of living large, but though we are grateful for all the ways that God brings us closer through the busy moments we share, weekends like this where we can just rest and reconnect without any of the daily hustle and bustle are sure a blessing

Does my baby have to hold still? Is one of the questions I am a asked most frequently. The answer is no, although tugging or large movement often require a second impression, baby can wiggle his or her toes until the alginate gently squeezes them into place, capturing your babies most natural position of their hands and feet!

Learning to find beauty in who we are is an arduous journey most of us neglect to embark on. By the age of twelve, I felt out of place next to my petite friends. By fourteen, I stopped looking at myself in the mirror in the presence of others. By seventeen, I hid my fine hair with extensions, and at eighteen, I filled the gap in my teeth. At twenty -six, I became a mother. ... As I became a mother I discovered a depth of love that I have never felt before, not only an unconditional, all encompassing love for my baby, but also the beginning of a love for myself that I hadn't yet experienced. When my daughter was first born, her features were a striking resemblance of my own. The fine dark hair I'd once hidden, I became proud of, the round nose and creases across her cheeks that I once hated, I now cooed over. As she's grown, my daughter's appearance has changed; her hair has become golden, my eyes are deep brown, hers are now a vibrant blue. Though the contrast in complexion has become unequivocal, beneath the colour of her eyes, I can detect the same tenacious spirit that lies beneath my own. When I look in my daughter's eyes, I see pieces of myself that, for the first time in my life, I have been able to recognize as beautiful. Never have I appreciated the idiosyncrasies and quirks that make me who I am as something beautifully unique. As my daughter inhales whilst squeeling or scrunches her nose and narrows her eyes, I see those pieces of myself in a new light, a light that reveals their endearing beauty because while she is a person all of her own, she is still also so much of me. Capturing the small details of each precious finger is a daily reminder of the wonder in this world

I 100% agree. Our bookshelves are a disaster and the floor is puddled with water when my daughter helps me clean but it’s so worth it to allow her to help in her beautifully imperfect ways.

Because some days, my greatest accomplishment is purchasing a rotisserie chicken. Getting fresh air, taking a deep breath, collecting my thoughts and going to the store. Some days that’s my win.... Some days that are hard and seem gloomy despite the sunshine, despite my daughters beaming smile. Some days are just hard, friends, and don’t we all know it. So some days if your greatest accomplishment is going to purchase a rotisserie chicken, recognizing that it’s too much to make dinner. Know your not alone. And know that other days you will climb mountains, with ease.
