FORT FUN Last night marked the first sleep-out for the Robinson Boys in their new fort! This after-hours project, inspired by Covid, quarantine, and a desire for the noise to be moved outside ;) comes with a little deck, a treetop vista from their corner windows, a Dutch door, and some personalized decoration a la Pokémon, Disney, and Minecraft. J + W were pretty pumped to eat candy, watch movies, and stay up way too late, which was exactly the hope. ... Home Away from Home The homeowners we were working for this past week operate a day home out of their house. A couple of years ago, they had us build a great tiered deck off the back and a beautiful fence around their property. This year, they wanted us to build another platform, this time for a gazebo, and a sidewalk to the backyard that eliminated the uneven paving stones that they had beside the house. Their yard is beautifully kept and a welcoming, serene ...place that will keep blessing those kids who find their home away from home here.
