Can snacking help reduce daily calories? A study by Kant et al (2019) looked at the difference snacking can have on your daily caloric intake. They found people who snacked tended to consume fewer calories during their meals; however, their daily caloric intake was still higher than on non-snacking days.... On average, the men consumed 239 more calories on snacking days. So yes, snacks CAN reduce your hunger to help consume less at mealtime, but generally not enough to compensate for the increase in your TOTAL caloric intake. . . . . #fitness #diet #weightlossjourney #personaltrainer #calories
