Another set of masks for the personal use for my nursing friends. These aren't suitable for hospital use, but will work well for the general public. Some o...f you have asked if I am open to selling them my masks. Honestly these are made from a labour of love and takes about two hours to make each one. These are MADE to MEASURE masks. There are 2 layers of cotton and then microfibre in between. The nose area is made from copper wire as it holds it shape much better. The cotton is washed twice in hot water and then dried on high heat twice prior to construction. My next round will be for my current and/or former Brides/Groom's and their families - along with any wedding vendors that I've worked with or will be working with this year. Please PM me or email me and I will place you in the cue. You can choose the exterior facing fabric from the selection that I have. I will choose the coordinating inside fabric that is against your skin and the elastic colours. Care is hand wash with regular laundry detergent and hang dry. Not suitable to be placed in the washing machine because of the copper wire. Thank you to my parents who bought me my first sewing machine (Holly Hobbie) and later a Singer. I now appreciate more fully my teacher's knowledge - Mrs. Blakely from Grade 8 home economics - for teaching kids the basics of sewing as well. I'm trying to do my part to ensure that health care grade Personal Protective Equipment stays within the health care system AND we don't see these one time use masks end up in our water or landfill.
