It was back in the 1960s when he was just a 17 ye...ar old kid working for a sign company in Windsor Ontario. His design, which perfectly captured the powerhouse rock and roll station that was Windsor-based CKLW in those days, was sketched on the Canadian bank of the Detroit River as he looked across at the Motor City’s skyline. He beat out ad agencies from New York and Chicago with his design. The photo is featured in both these great local historybooks: "500 Ways You Know You’re From Windsor" as well as the companion book, 5000 Ways You Know You’re From Detroit."
