Our staff got a refresher course on Naloxone training today. We thank Stephanie from Nakazdli Health for her time and teaching today.

This shelter is open to all. We help all members of the surrounding First Nations Communities of Takla Lake First Nation, Tlazten Nation (Middle River, Tache, Binche), Nakazdli Band, Yekooche First Nation, and the villagers of Fort St James... Our doors are open for everyone

Today, our centre was gifted backpacks for our patrons by the FSJSS Student Council. In each backpack contained a water bottle, thermal wear, toque, socks and gloves - perfect for our town and patrons! We thank you for your kindness and generosity. Our patrons are all cheeks n teeth today as well as toasty warm n hydrated! Thank you!
