This week I personally showed the Premier's Ministers the investigative reports that are showing us that while seniors are dying in record numbers in private ca...re homes, the major companies that own these homes are returning billions of dollars of profit to their CEOs and shareholders as we speak. People like fromer Premier Mike Harris - who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars for a part-time job as the chair of a private home company - should know better. These are our seniors lives not their chances to make a quick buck. Those billions should be returned to the seniors in these care homes, not the greedy CEOs who want more profit on the backs of our loved ones. It doesn't take much to realize how wrong this. Put the money into staffing, services and care. It's time to open up this industry and show the world what they've been doing.

We've dedicated this issue to all of our businesses, essential workers, front liners and volunteers. It is all of you that make our community great. Keep strong and we will all get through this.
