For the Record

Hello Alll, It's been a while since I checked in so I thought I'd restart my campain. I'm looking to gather stories of hope and tips from parents, siblings and extended family of people with autism or people with autism themselves. I'm trying to build a compilation book of success stores, thoughts, tips, poems, other ways to approach or even look at autism... anything you like that will encourage and/or educate. It's meant to be a ray of hope and help to people struggling wi...th autism in the family or even dealing with autism first hand. To those who have already contributed I would love to hear from you again just to be sure I have all contributions and still have permission. You can reach me either by posting or messaging me on facebook. If you know of anyone who isn't on facebook please pass the word. I will post a new e-mail address separate from facebook soon. All proceeds of the book will be donated to autism research and education. It will most likely be put in e-book format initially until I can gather funds to put it in physical book from. TO ALL CAREGIVERS, PARENTS, FAMILIES, AND CHILDREN: Please NOTE: For all those who like to go walking in the feilds and forest, please be aware of this plant. It is the Poison Parsnip plant and grows all around Ottawa. It is in fact European (according to my sources) so it could be anywhere. You can see some of the reactions to people that come in contact with it in my photo album titled Warning. Please Be Careful!

Here's a Challenge for my project. We've just passed the holidays I'd love to hear your thoughts about one or all of these questions! How was your holiday season? Do you have a big gathering or small? Is your family sup.portive/understanding of the trials/beauty of autism?... Are Holidays usually stressful (in relation to Autism)? Why? What was your favorite moment this year? What's generally your favorite memory about the holidays (in relation to autism)? What brings you stress (with regards to the holiday and autism)?
