"Employers have a duty to maintain a workplace that is free of harassment and violence. Though the employer cannot foresee incidences of harassment and/or violence, the employer has to take reasonable measures to prevent violence and harassment at work."

The law sees the institution of marriage as an equal partnership and therefore if a married couple lived in a home and used it as their matrimonial home, the law usually wants to see an equal division of matrimonial property regardless of the ownership of the house.

This is a great piece of advice for parents of adult children that are going through separation or divorce. Be the good neighbour who listens to them when they need to vent and let their lawyer give them the hard advice.
