Smile of the week: Orthodontic case finished by Dr. Tran in conjunction with Orthognathic surgery. Orthognathic surgery is performed by an oral surgeon in collaboration with orthodontics. It often includes braces before and after surgery, and retainers after the final removal of braces.

Smile of the week: Dr. Tran treated this case with speed braces and later did a Gingivectomy. For anyone who feels their teeth look too small or too "gummy," a Gingivectomy is a non-invasive dental procedure that can be done in one visit with dramatic results. At our office we use a dental laser so there is no bleeding and down time post procedure.
