We are excited to announce that our Pop-Up Shop is now open to the public! We are counting down to Christmas with new artists each week leading up to Christmas ...Eve. Keep an eye out for posters each week announcing our next line up of artists. You can visit us during our regular business hours which have been extended until December 24th, 2020 as noted in the poster. This week we have some amazing work from Bella Ekhiohina and Levi MacDonald. Cookie plates for our fundraiser will also be available! There will be limited capacity due to Covid, and limited waiting spots in the Recreation Centre. Traffic past capacity will be given a time to return. Screening, masks, hand sanitizer use, and social distancing required. Customer information will be noted down for contact tracing. One customer/family group per table at one time. One direction of traffic flow (arrows will be marked on the floor) Shop, don’t stop messaging to encourage individuals to limit their time at the sale to allow others to enter.

The Land Provides is an opportunity to share stories and history about the lives of Northern Indigenous peoples and their relationship with the Land. The exhi...bit uses the NLMCC collection of artifacts from three large Indigenous groups present in the NWT and showcases some of the more intriguing artifacts from each. Join us for the grand opening of our new exhibit, and meet Isaiah Wiltzen, the local NLMCC student staff member behind this exhibit. Masks and social distancing required. **Attention Artists and Vendors!** The NLMCC is hosting a Christmas 2020 Pop-Up Shop in the month of December. If you would like more details or would like to reserve a spot, please contact us! Each artist will be given about one week to showcase their work leading up to Christmas.

This month the ladies have planned a "Paint & Sip" night -- this Saturday at 8pm. Bring your preferred beverage. Sounds like a great time! All supplies provi...ded, so we're asking for $20 to cover costs (but if you're a student or can't spare $20, we've got you covered). Limit 18 to maintain social distancing. Two people at a table -- sign up with someone in your bubble, and learn to paint the Northern Lights with a lesson taught on the big screen! Please bring a mask to wear when you're not at your table.
