Trinity Fort to Forge Annual 10 k Race

Hi Everyone! We have started to compile all of our photos from the run last weekend. Check out the Photo Album - 2019 Race Photos for snapshots of the amazing day we had! Here are the race results from yesterday. Congratulations to everyone who participated...you all did brilliantly. And once again thanks to all the volunteers - the Fire department, marshals and time keepers in particular. I would like to give a huge shout out to Sweet Rock Ice Cream who, once again, sponsored this event. Not only have they given many hours of their time in helping with the organisation and advertising, but they have made a large donation to YACC. In fact, a p...ercentage of their ice cream sales throughout September will also be donated to YACC. Lastly, many many thanks to all those who sponsored participants and donated. In particular I would like to congratulate Sarah Agnew who was the top fundraiser again. Sarah raised $900 in sponsorship and was a vital part in the organisation and promotion of this years event (she also did pretty good in the run too!!). We will post the total amount raised as soon as it all comes in.

Last chance! Registration and race number pick-up this morning 8:00-9:15 a.m. at the Parish Hall in Trinity. Bus leaves for the start line at 9:30 sharp for 10:00 a.m. start at Fort Point. Don't be late!

The Lions Club will be selling coffee and muffins at or near the finish line, so bring a little cash for your post-run pick-me-up!
