We at Fortune Gallery are very sad to share the news that our very recently exhibited artist, Anne Meggitt, has died. Although she was in the later stages of ALS, as recently as two weeks before she died Anne was still painting in the studio: completing landscapes of Invermere, Pemberton, and Harris Creek near Port Renfrew. Though her health took a pronounced turn for the worse in mid-September, she was able to live her last days on her own terms and surrounded by her loving ...family to the end. We encourage you to visit Anne’s works at her website annemeggitt.com and any inquiries can be made to her daughters at annemeggitt.com/contact. Anne left an impression, on all who met her, as a joyous, determined, passionate woman who loved her art, her family and her life in Victoria. We were so happy she found Fortune Gallery.
