LEAF COLLECTION... Happy Fall folks!!! As the leaves start to fall, please make a note that Forty Oaks will be doing leaf collection by donation again this year. We will ONLY be collecting bagged leaves this year. Canadian Tire and most large stores sell paper yard waste bags. Please try and use paper as it is compostable, a much better option for disposal! If you supply the receipt, we will cover the cost of the paper bags!! We will provide pick up dates soon, once the leaves have really dropped. It will be on Fridays, probably starting in the first week of November.

Just wanted to give everyone a friendly reminder that once your trees begin to bud, any major pruning should wait for fall. Minor pruning is ok still but even that should be done very soon here! Starting to look like 2017 again....when everything bloomed and then we had a freeze. Many fruit trees failed to produce that year......let's hope that does not happen again!! Enjoy the sunshine!!
