Dog available for adoption! . Do you guys remember Buddy? He came to me for a board and train about a year ago.... . Life happens. And unfortunately Buddy was not a good match for his family. They love him a whole lot and knew they weren't a good match so we are looking for the perfect home for him. . He is a two and a half years old Dogo Argentino mix. Aka, a big dude. He is full of energy and would love a big yard to roam and run around. He has absolutely no idea how big he is, so no young kids. He'd probably don't best outside of the city. Place with distraction with Blue and Arya. . Blue is a young dog and obviously loves to be involved in everything that is happening around him. So this is a great exercise for him to understand the basics of impulse control.... . Arya is here to work on her dog reactivity. She is a nervous lady and reacts to dogs out of fear. This is a great exercise for her to understand that not all dogs are out there to get her. Just listen to what your handler is asking you to do and everything will be fine. Listen to the training instead of your nerves. . It was a challenge for both at first. Walking update! . Cato had been here for a week. His walk and obedience have been coming along nicely. ... . He is walking really well now. Kody came to us through @saveourscruff just before the whole Corona thing went down. . We were finally able to find him a good foster (I have strong hope they will foster fail ). It's such a a bitter sweet day. Through his months here, we have seen him open up and literally transform. ... . He is in good hands with some super sweet people. The little dude is improving. He is still throwing tantrums every now and then but everything is moving in the right direction. . He is muzzled anytime he is outside the crate. I want him to be as comfortable as possible wearing it so he is wearing it a whoooole lot. ... . Also, he is now walking on a slip lead instead of a prong. I taught him what leash pressure means on a prong. Took Cody to the bank today. . He is a majorly anxious dog. When you have an anxious dog, make sure you give them something to do in those situations. If I wouldn't have asked him to "down" he would have been pacing a flinching at every noise. ... .
