I found another fabric I recognize. This fabric ended up being a tap costume I believe.

When I was a child we would visit the Foster and Tara factory and there would be random cuts of fabric left over that were too small for my Dad to do anything with. My Mum, who was also a seamstress, would save these pieces and take them home. She would transform them into our dance costumes. I found this picture on the internet of a Foster and Tara jacket. I know for certain this was made by my Dad as I distinctly remember having a tutu made out of the same fabric.
