Even though we face similar obstacles when it comes to branding and developing a website, we also face obstacles by staying creative. When we are in a creative slump we do 5 things to get the creative juices flowing: 01 Remove Yourself - sometimes you just need to go for a walk or, take a day to come back to the problem and see it with fresh eyes.... 02 Find Inspiration - go on Behance, Abuzeedo or other design sites to find a little spark of inspiration. 03 Read - websites are great but sometimes you just need a good book to inspire a different way of thinking. 04 Talk it Out - sometimes you need a sounding board in order to get a different take and perspective; it's always a fun angle to explore. 05 Videos - whether that's watching a design tutorial or a process video, sometimes watching others create is a great way to stay motivated. It also serves as a reminder that creative blocks are normal and sometimes part of the process. How do you keep your creative juices flowing?
