We’ve all seen these same habits included in many health tips and in medical research for a multitude of health issues too numerous to list. And it comes down to taking care of us by making wise choices. It doesn’t matter what the scale says, it doesn’t tell you if you are Healthy so I present this to everyone as important, not just when considering weight loss. Years ago as a teenage struggling with body image, my wise brother told me the scale is not as important as how ...you feel. I continued to worry about the scale and I have never been overweight but that doesn’t mean I was always healthy. His words always remained with me though. Now close to 50, and in my current struggles with both physical and mental health issues, I’ve HAD to take a hard look at my habits and could see and feel the direct effects. My body and mind were screaming at me to listen to the basics that we hear a million times. Health and well being are very intertwined and it is a life journey. These are just some of the important building blocks of our temple, our bodies and minds together. See more
