Public Notice Effective Saturday, December 19, 2020. All medical passengers flying into Island Lake via Perimeter will be subject to rapid testing. Give yourself few extra minutes when checking in. Test only takes 15 minutes start to finish. For all those that have had recent testing with test results please inform nurse when you received your results and show them. For those that have had a previous positive covid result and was sent to Wpg to recover and has gone through the required days of isolation and cleared by the public health Nutse please let the screening no. You will not be retested as it will still show positive. Cash paying customers will still require authorization from the communities.

Journey Of Hope Program, St. Theresa Point - Week 2 I just wanted to share some pics of the second week of a 6 week summer activity for the Journey of Hope program - had to bring it indoors due to heavy rain. Acting Education Director Cornelius Harper was kind enough and is very supportive as a matter of fact has allowed the team the use of the gymnasium on rainy days. In Partnership with Breakfast Club of Canada, Four Arrow's Kimeechiminan Food Security Program was able to send up 1000 "A Good Food Box" to the communities of Wasagamack, St. Theresa Point and Red Sucker Lake. Garden Hill First Nation dealt directly with BCC so they will be working with their community members directly.

When travelling north you will notice these two young men from St. Theresa Point who have been assisting the Screening Teams as our Security Aides. They have been doing a great job in helping the process of monitoring all Island Lake travelers. Keshtin Wood and Garnet Mason

REMINDER: New travel regulations still in place. Please make sure you bring them out when you travel. ID is NOT required coming out to Winnipeg but is required WHEN GOING BACK otherwise you can be denied to travel that day.

Screening will be in place till May 31, 2020. Will advise if extended. but teams have been very instrumental in helping patients travel. Teams here preparing light snacks for next days travel.
