In this breakfast nook, we incorporated our clients' existing artwork which complimented the home's blue and green colour palette perfectly. We were inspired by the colours of our client's love of her native Newfoundland and incorporated them throughout the home. This breakfast nook is part of an open concept kitchen-family room so it has to do triple duty as a place to eat, homework zone and extra seating when entertaining. We loved the open backed, moulded chairs for the s...pace as they are sculptural and interesting but basically indestructible and easy to clean. They were a great practical pairing with the pretty, serene fabrics and colour scheme.
