A Message from Mayor John Borrowman: As you may have heard, the Province of Alberta has announced new targeted and temporary measures in select geographic area...s to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Thanksgiving 2020 A different year, and a different Thanksgiving; regardless of the context, this celebration is always better with some fresh bakes goods (yeah, you know it!). We will be open on Monday October 12th from 8 am to 4 pm to provide you with breads, croissants and patisseries. Make sure to place your order before Thursday, October 8th, to ensure your goodies are set aside for you. If you miss the order deadline, we will still have some fresh products available... at our counter, until supplies last. Please note we never put aside products for the same or next day pickup. NEWS Prayers have been answered Bow Valley, and we are happy to announce that we are changing our schedule starting this Thursday, October 1st Thanks to your continued support, we are now able to open one more day a week, and extend our opening hours: Thursday - Tuesday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm ... While we wait for the manufacturing and installation of protective equipment for our counter, we will continue to offer our take out service. Once the doors are open we will strictly observance of the Town of Canmore’s mandatory mask by-law, and a limited number of persons will be allowed in the bakery at all times. We will not be offering seating; we will continue to monitor the progression of the contamination levels as the second wave arrives. As always, we will follow AHS advice to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers and our community. Your continued collaboration and positive attitude are always appreciated! When weather allows it, our lawn chairs are ready for you to take a seat and enjoy the views while eating a croissant paired with a wonderful coffee. What about the paper bag, the cup and the lid, once you are done? After the long weekend, we’ve seen an increase in customer visits, for which we are grateful! We would appreciate your cooperation when it comes to disposing of used packaging.... We have set a few garbage and compost bins by our chairs, all labeled according to their proper use. Our cups, lids, napkins, boxes, and food leftovers are all compostable; bottles and cans are recyclable; all other items may be thrown out in the garbage. Please be respectful and do not throw out such items as diapers and doggy bags in our garbage. We appreciate your help with our clean environment mission and keeping our lawn clean and pleasant for all to enjoy. Thanks for your comprehension and we are looking forward to see you soon!
