A day of reflection for me. Two years ago on this day Rescuing the Dogs of Asia was held in Toronto. So many attended and volunteered their time to raise mone...y for Animal Hope and Wellness and The Compassion Project with Marc Ching and Suki Su in China, the Humane Society International/Canada team who work tirelessly in South Korea and the year before Soi Dog from Thailand. Like The Sound of Animals, all these organizations need your ongoing support and have excellent adoption programs if you are interested. #animalhopeandwellness #humanesocietyinternational #soidog #animaljustice To quote Marc Ching when I watch all the suffering, there’s this moment where the dogs look at me when I’m just about to save them and it’s like breathing in the rain. Time stops and these dogs, who have only known fear and suffering their entire lives, look at me with trust. That’s an extremely powerful moment where there is just purity, love, and passion and they know they are going to be okay. All we can do is bring hope and love in our own hearts and into the animals
