Another custom U.S. order just about ready to ship.

The cleanup has begun. Buckets, spiles and lids need to be removed from the trees then washed, sanitized and put away for another year. Any volunteers?!

So that's it. Seven days straight the boiler has been going. Tonight the flame gets to go out. All the sap is boiled up. The little bit from yesterday and today we will just dump on the weekend. It's been too warm. Made medium grade colour syrup tonight. Usually our syrup is clear grade. One more batch to finish on the propane tomorrow. I imagine it will be a darker grade as well. Don't see a lot of cold weather in the forecast so who knows how much more we will make. Hope to... get a few more good runs. We are not at our minimum expectations yet. Could be a short season. Only the weather gods know. 3 batches the same colour tonight's a little darker. Looks darker again in a bigger bottle. If you have syrup ordered and you are availible this weekend your welcome to do a gravel drive pick up. We have syrup shipping out next week to Texas, Calgary, Saskatchewan, BC, Italy and Australia. Ok something new! Energy drinks. This is our test run. Pasteurized sap, sap lemonade and sap green tea! 3% natural sugar content from the boiled sap. Caffeine based green tea. Tastes amazing. Now we need to see what the shelf life is and if there are any after effects to the bottling process. Other favours possible what would you recommend?

It's bucket washing day which means that the season is really over and done with (well once the buckets, lids and spiles are all washed and put away). And what a season it was! We made a record number of litres and it's the best quality yet! We have a lot of syrup to sell. We currently have plastic litre bottles ($25) and 500 ml plastic bottles ($13). However, if you are interested in decorative glass bottles, just let us know. There are many different sizes and shapes to choose from.
