Panel modifications! Sometimes the saddle tree might be perfect for your horse, but the panels are not the right shape and can influence the saddle fit. In this instance, the rear gussets on this panel were too boxy and full. Sometimes I can lighten a panel by removing flocking from key areas. Depending on the shape of the panel this can work really well either permanently or as a temporary stop gap. ... In this instance the saddle owner opted to have their panel gussets modified to allow for the saddle panel to better follow the shape of the horse.
